Chrome Dev Summit 2020
Chrome Dev Summit is back with its 8th chapter, but this time we’re coming to you. We’re bringing all the latest updates, just as much content, and many more Chromies.
While our sessions are open to all, we’ll be running limited capacity workshops and office hours. Request an invite (requires Google sign in) now to ensure we can add you to the roster for these and more exclusive experiences that we’re working on.
So what if we can’t meet in person? We’ll be there to run private, virtual Office Hours and limited capacity Workshops across topics such as Performance, Web Vitals, Trust & Safety, PWA, CSS, UX & Design. You name it.
While we iron out some logistical creases, remember to Request an Invite so you don’t miss out!
What is Chrome Dev Summit 2020?
Chrome Dev Summit is an annual conference where developers can learn about the latest tools and updates coming to the Google Chrome browser.
Over the two days, Chrome product and engineering teams as well as the wider community come together to envision and build the future of the web. The audience will hear about platform updates, architectural guidance, developer tooling, case studies, and opportunities for increased reach and engagement on the web.
When and Where is Chrome Dev Summit?
Chrome Dev Summit 2020 will be held 9-10 December, 2020 and will be online-only.
Are there any in-person aspects to the event?
Given the current times, we’ve decided to have a virtual-only conference. No doubt that the event would feel fairly different this year, but we’re excited by the idea of making the event accessible to everyone, globally, barring timezone barriers.
Do I need to register to view the sessions?
Registration is not required to watch the sessions. All sessions and content will be publicly available. The sessions will run live on 9-10 Dec, 2020 starting from 10 am Pacific Time (expected run time c. 3 hours). After the event we’ll post the sessions to the Chrome Developers YouTube Channel; however, we encourage developers to join us during the livestream to get a chance to interact with Googlers live and ask their burning questions.
