Event Description

Are you the FIWARE Hackathon champion we’re looking for? Join our marathon of innovation aimed at developing new services/applications in the sector of Smart Cities, Smart Manufacturing, and Open Data. This event is an initiative promoted by the FIWARE Foundation, the consortium of the MIDIH project, and the Connecting Europe Facilities (CEF).

At the FIWARE Hackathon, you and fellow leaders of change will come together to create innovative solutions to support the development and long-term sustainability of cities; the implementation of innovative systems applied to the Smart Manufacturing sector; and the reuse of Open Data in the context of all the vertical domains of the hackathon. We will help you get into the mood for: collaboration, creativity, innovation, curiosity, and especially, a chance to win 5000€! The Hackathon is divided into different phases:

– Hackathon Virtual Training Session (online training) 

– Development of the solutions

– Virtual pitch in front of the evaluation committee

– Announcement of the winners during the Startup Day during the FIWARE Global Summit
